For BrandAlley’s Christmas campaign, the creative idea centred around the nostalgia, chaos, and little moments that make the festive season feel special.

Titled “This Is Christmas”, the campaign explored the idea that while we all want the perfect Christmas, it rarely goes exactly to plan. The burnt dinner, last-minute dashes to the shops, unexpected moments and family traditions are often what make the day memorable.

The copy focused on capturing the relatable reality of Christmas — celebrating the imperfections and reminding customers that Christmas isn’t about creating a picture-perfect day, but making the most of the moments that matter.

Through warm, nostalgic and relatable copy, the campaign celebrated the reality of Christmas: that it doesn’t have to be perfect to be magical. It’s the little moments, the memories and the things you make of it that truly make it Christmas.

The campaign ran from a soft launch through to Christmas Day. With the festive season starting earlier every year, the aim of the soft launch wasn’t to overwhelm customers with Christmas messaging too soon, but to gently nudge them into getting ahead — helping them start planning, preparing and finding those perfect pieces before the usual December rush.

Across social, the campaign came to life through a series of videos split into two key moments: “Decorate” and “Celebrate.” These focused on the different stages of the festive season — from preparing the home and creating that Christmas feeling, to enjoying the moments, traditions and celebrations that follow.
