Rules + Rituals reimagined BrandAlley’s Beauty Room as a more immersive, personal destination inspired by the everyday routines that make people feel their best. Moving beyond a traditional beauty retail space, we created a platform centred around the idea that self-care isn’t about following trends — it’s about the rituals and non-negotiables that shape our daily lives.
The campaign featured four models, each sharing the beauty and wellness practices they refuse to compromise on. By spotlighting these authentic personal rituals, Rules + Rituals celebrated individuality and encouraged customers to discover products that naturally fit into their own self-care routines, rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach.
The campaign was brought to life across BrandAlley’s key customer touchpoints, including email, onsite creative and social media, creating a cohesive experience that reinforced the refreshed Beauty Room identity and invited customers to engage with the brand in a more meaningful way.
BRANDALLEY’S ‘BEAUTY ROOM’ BEFORE:
As Copywriter, I helped shape Rules + Rituals from the early stages, collaborating with the team to develop the campaign narrative and creative direction. I wrote the scripts for each of the four models, crafting authentic stories that reflected their individual approaches to self-care while maintaining a consistent brand voice. I also developed copy across email, onsite and social channels, helping bring the campaign to life and connect with customers through relatable, everyday beauty rituals.

SKINCARE + MAKEUP
[RENATA speaking to camera]
Premium makeup and skincare shouldn’t cost the earth.
When it comes to skincare, my biggest non-negotiable is staying well hydrated — keeping your skin nourished and healthy is so important.
I always make sure to remove my makeup before going to bed, and one rule I never break? Don’t pick at your spots.
If I could give you one piece of advice, it’s that treating your skin to premium makeup and skincare doesn’t have to come with a premium price tag.
HAIRCARE
[RYAN speaking to camera]
This is my masterpiece.
I started growing my hair out during COVID with absolutely no idea how to look after long hair. I’d never had long hair before, so I had no clue what to expect.
It was a lot of trial and tribulation — figuring out what worked, what didn’t and trying to get it to look the way I wanted.
Some products made it greasy. Other times, it got really frizzy.
But now I’ve finally figured out the ritual that works for me: a hair mask for 20 minutes every Sunday, come hell or high water. And after all that time, effort and patience…
This is my masterpiece.
BODYCARE

The “everything shower.” Have you heard of it?
The industry I work in demands quite a lot from me. There are lots of people to see, meetings to be in and moments where I need to show up as my best self.
So I make sure I dedicate time to looking after myself — especially my skin and my skincare routine.
The “everything shower” is a ritual I do every single week.
Extra hot water. Oils. Scrubs. The lot.
And every time I step out, I feel clearer, calmer and ready for whatever life throws at me next.
FRAGRANCE
[ANIA speaking to camera]
A fragrance can take you back in an instant.
I think scent holds a power all of its own. It can remind you of someone, somewhere or a moment in time.
It can transport you back to the feeling of a place — like the warm night air on a summer holiday in Greece, or a memory you thought you’d forgotten.
For me, a fragrance has to connect me to somewhere beyond the place I happen to be in.
Because it’s about more than just smelling great.
